Description

The engine is first disassembled and thoroughly cleaned, and each part is meticulously inspected for signs of wear, damage, or non-conformity to OE specifications. Any subpar components are replaced with brand new parts to ensure that the engine meets or exceeds OE standards.

The remanufactured engine features not only new seals and gaskets but also a new timing chain set, oil pump, water pump, bearings, pistons and rings, and OEM crankshaft (when available). In case a reusable crankshaft is not available, a new OEM crankshaft is installed. Every bearing clearance is checked to meet OE specifications. All cylinder heads are checked for cracks, cleaned, and resurfaced. New valve seals are installed, and the intake and exhaust valves are precisely cut and lapped to ensure proper sealing. Related hardware, such as camshafts, rocker arms, lifters, and valve springs, is replaced as needed with new components.

For your peace of mind, all rebuilt engines come with a 6-month, 8,000-mile limited warranty on the longblock assembly. However, please note that the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. For more information about the warranty terms and conditions, please contact the seller.

Installation Instructions for Engine Longevity:

1) After installing the engine, disconnect the 4 coil-packs and turn the motor over in 3 - 5 second intervals (in other words, crank the engine for a few seconds, then stop and repeat this process) to prime the motor with oil before startup. This ensures that the engine's components are properly lubricated.

2) Once the oil has been circulated through the engine, reconnect the coil packs and start the vehicle.

3) Let the engine idle for 30 minutes. During this time, use an OBDII Scanner to clear any engine codes that may have been triggered during the installation process.

4) After 30 minutes, shut off the vehicle and drain the oil and oil filter. Be sure to follow proper oil disposal procedures in your area.

5) Inspect the drained oil for any large metal shavings or abnormalities. If you notice anything unusual, stop the process and contact us immediately for assistance. Do not proceed with the next step until you have contacted us.

6) Install a new oil filter and fill the engine with fresh, high-quality engine oil. Be sure to use the recommended oil viscosity for your engine.

7) Start the vehicle again and let it idle for a few minutes to circulate the new oil.

8) Congratulations! Your engine is now properly installed and ready to use. We recommend following your vehicle's recommended maintenance schedule to keep your engine running smoothly for years to come.
