Ford 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel Turbo Genuine Oem 743250-5025S 2005.5-2007

Information on 2003-2007 Ford 6.0 Diesel Turbochargers.

There were 3 different turbine wheels offered in the 6.0 powerstroke gt3782va turbo. Over the years ford attempted to do 2 things while changing the turbo specs... quicker spool and quieter turbo.

Those were two big complaints early on. So they first changed to a 13 bladed turbine in 2004 that kept a very similar 72.5x66mm dimension. Then sometime in 2005 ford changed to a 72.5x64mm turbine to increase spool up.

2003-2004.5 10 blade 72.5x66 10 blade turbine (basically a small gt40 turbine)
2004.5-2005.5 13 blade 72.5x66 13 blade turbine (larger 13 blade)
2005.5 - 2007 13 blade 72.5 x 64 13 blade turbine (smaller 13 blade)
